Born in Liverpool, England in 1956, John has exhibited widely both in this country and abroad and is presently working towards a major exhibition of his work at the John Lennon Gallery (courtesy of the Yoko Ono Estate) - in the Spring of 2003. The artist received a B.A hons degree in Fine Art at Bristol Polytechnic in July 1979 - prior to this he was privileged to study at the now world famous Hope Street college of Fine Art (both John Lennon and Stuart Sutcliffe studied art at the college). It is hardly surprising that he should have chosen the ‘Beatles’ as his number one subject!
